BIOGRAPHY

Mark Howell is the founder of SmallGroupResources.net, helping churches across North America launch, build and sustain healthy small group ministries.

Mark's long standing passion for leadership development, strategy and innovation have brought him success in a variety of endeavors, including a season as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter where he won the prestigious National Sales Director Award.

With over 25 years in ministry, Mark has served in a number of roles.  In addition to planting a church, he's also served as an Associate Pastor on several teams and Small Group Pastor at Fellowship of The Woodlands and Lake Avenue Church.  With four years on the consulting staff at Lifetogether he's had the privilege of working in ministries around the country.  As a host and teacher for several 40 Days of Purpose Campaign Coaching initiatives he's had the opportunity to guide hundreds of churches through the campaign process.

A native Californian, he's a graduate of San Diego State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark and his wife, Debbie, have three children—Chris, Alexis and Eric—a granddaughter and Maxwell the Dog.
